Windows 10: Logitech g hub exe is missing; can't open, uninstall or re install

I have no idea why, but the .exe for logitech g hub, which makes my headset work, has decided to vanish. I didn't touch any of the files or mess with any new updates. Without it, I can't open the program or uninstall it. When I go through "apps and features" and click uninstall, it says windows couldn't find it. I re downloaded the installation wizard, but it claims that the software already exists on my computer. I checked the logitech forums and found a few people with the exact same issue, but no solution, so I decided to try here instead. Browsing around, some people have been able to reinstall using a 3rd party application meant to remove all files associated with ghub, but I've never heard of it and don't really want to download anything designed to delete my files from a 3rd part site. Besides, I'm certain that there should be a way to fix the problem using the windows UI, only I'm not sure how. I've found the folder containing the data for the app, but I don't know if outright deleting it will fix the problem or even create an entire new problem. If anyone knows the solution, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Logitech Keyboard issues

The failing to boot problem has been there since I bought it several weeks ago, but I don't boot often. After installing win10 I've been booting a lot trying to sort out all the issues that cropped up.

Initially my attempt to fix the logitech issues after installing win10 was to uninstall it and reinstall g hub. The uninstall seems to have gone badly. It is not listed in my add/remove programs but there are remnants of it in my program files and registry. Trying to install it crashes. I did follow the instructions on the faq on the logitech website. I've downloaded an uninstaller program to help, geek uninstaller, but it doesn't see any logitech software to uninstall.

When I try to run the lghub_installer I get a "Logitech G Hub has stopped working" error and it closes.

 

cannot add the forza horizon .exe to logitech gaming app because the exe is locked.
