Windows 10: Logitech Keyboard Mk850 error. it keeps adding spaces without pressing the spacebar

My Logitech Keyboard Mk850 keeps adding hundreds of random spaces as if the spacebar is being pressed but it is not. This stops temporarily when I press any other key but returns to add spaces after some seconds. I removed the space key and cleaned it with an Air blowerI tried connecting the keyboard through Bluetooth mode and unifying USB dongle and the behavior was the same.I tested it on two computers, one with Windows 10 and another with Windows 11, and behaves equally.I tried uninstalling all keyboard drivers in the device manager and got nothing.I repeated the pairing, didn't workI remov

my step son has a toshiba laptop. its not all that old. his keyboard started messing up. the spacebar when pressed in notpad/search etc it make the number 64. backspace gives a date stamp. the number 4 sometimes does 4 and sometimes does 64. im thinking he somehow pressed the wrong key and it inverted his keyboard somehow. but Me and laptops are like oil and water. help?

Boot into safe mode and see if it still does it.

Was anything spilled on the keyboard?

The issue might occur if the keyboard layout has been changed. I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check for status.

• In the login screen, press/hold the Windows key
  and use the Spacebar key to change the keyboard layout to English (United Kingdom).
• After the input language is changed, check for status.
