Windows 10: Logitech Streamcam code 28

Connected the Streamcam via USBC however, "unknown device" code 28 appears in Device Manager.Have gone into device manager and tried combinations of uninstall, reinstall, restarted, switching power completely off, removing device etcHave also downloaded latest driver from Logitech, install, reinstall etchttps://logitechsoftwarecenter.com/logitech-streamcam-software/Have also tried trouble shootingHave also tried updating driver via device manager - by searching my desktop or online, however the same message remains.Please help. Logitech Streamcam cannot be installed on a Win7 Pro desktop.

When you installed the drivers from Logitech did you Right Click on them and select Run as Admin?

Are you using any 3rd party anti-virus such as McAfee, Norton, Kaspersky or etc.? Thos are known to conflict with the camera drivers.

Recommendations for the StreamCam is for a 7th generation i5 so not sure what the compatibility with AMD processors might be.

I see where you have posted on the Logitech Forums about the issue which is a good move. Though it is best to check with Logitech Support as this is likely to be a known issue.

Logitech Streamcam drivers & USB C - Cannot install

Hi Rob,

I'll try reinstalling those drivers later this evening. I was about to buy a USB-C PCI Expansion card, then read a review of something being unable to use the Logitech streamcam with it!

I have realised my Graphics card has a USB C on it, so will try that tonight, hopefully that's a good work around.
