Windows 10: Logitech Streamcam drivers & USB C - Cannot install

I bought a Logitech Streamcam and thought I'd finally get to use the USB C on my x570 Auros Pro WiFi. However, in Windows, it's showing up at USB 3.0. The webcam can't be picked up in the Logitech capture software either.

In device manager, it shows up as 2 "Other devices", both of which I have tried to install drivers. It finds some, but cannot install them. So the webcam is left without drivers. I've tried uninstalling, rebooting and trying again. Still the same issue. The webcam worked immediately on my laptop via USB C.


Any advice on how to fix this?

I followed the listed steps and the webcam is performing properly and is recognized by Windows 10, I checked software and driver updates on the Logitech site and the Logitech utility states the software and driver are up to date and working properly. The
only issue I have is with Windows 10 Updates trying to update the Logitech software/drivers in the recent update and that update is throwing the Ox800f0203 error and continues to does so after all of the suggested solutions. Which puzzles me since the Logitech
hardware/software/driver is working properly.

Logitech set point might not be compatible with Windows 10. I would suggest you to install it in Windows 8/8.1 compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Refer the steps to install a driver in compatibility mode:

a. Right click on the setup file of the driver and select
Properties

b. Select Compatibility Tab

c. Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list

d. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your USB. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method 2.

Try updating the latest USB devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the USB drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand the USB driver.

c. Right-click on the USB and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.
