  1. Logitech USB input device - sporadic "BUTTON-UP events" after last driver update

There pretty strange but super annoying problem which happens after last driver update:

During drag system generates sporadic UP events which qucly follows by DOWN events (as soon as button pressed)

This is easely visualized on desktop: start selection, and move mouse around initial point and it jumps time to time.

Initially I thought that it is a hardware problem, and got another Logitech mouse. Exactly same thing.

Nice thing - I reinstalled Windows (thinking that 2y it is pretty big time for this os).

And all problem passed until update installed this new device driver.

I checked mouse of another manufacturer - and it works fine - so it is really Logitech driver problem.

This is super annoying and could even cause some "really unpleasant" problem when you drag your file over chat windows not thinking to drop it here, and it accidentally drops.

Or could cause real havoc on files.

    Anybody else saw this problem?

    :)

  2. Logitech - Other hardware - Logitech USB Input Device - Error 0x80070002

How to stop this error. I have used the troubleshooting tool multiple times. I have uninstalled everything Logitech. I so use a Logitech mouse and keyboard both wireless. They work without Logitech drivers.

No change. It continues trying to install some Logitech update for USB Input Device. All the Mouse, Keyboard and USB Input Device drivers are Microsoft.

If anyone know who to fix this please let me know.

Hopefully, someone at MS will notice this and address the issue in the next update.

I am running: Windows 10 Pro, Version 1709, Build: 16299.125

  3. Logitech USB Input Device - Error 0x80070002

I have seen this question posted but don't see an answer.

I have a Logitech wireless mouse. I have been using
it for months. but it suddenly stopped working. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and when I try to do an update I get this message:

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

    • Logitech - Other hardware - Logitech USB Input Device - Error 0x80070002.

I then bought a MS Mobile 1850 Mouse and that won't work either. It says there are no drivers for that device.

Logitech USB input device - sporadic "BUTTON-UP events" after last driver update

Logitech - Other hardware - Logitech USB Input Device - Error 0x80070002 boot camp on Mac

I'm having the same problem. Windows Updates performed a chunk of updates on Feb 14th 2018, and when trying to use the mouse after that - nothing.

I'm getting this from Windows Update:

There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help:

Logitech - Other hardware - Logitech USB Input Device - Error 0x80070002

I went the through the System Update Readiness (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us...-by-using-the-dism-or-system-update-readiness) steps 1-4; the errors were found and reportedly fixed, but without success; following
the "fix" windows update is still crashing.

I tested several Wireless dongles by Logitech. In the device manager they appear as having issues once I put them in, but there is no subsequent USB sound or prompt is. Other USB devices work well.

My laptop is a MacBook Pro with Boot Camp, running Windows 10.
