Windows 10: Logonui.exe

So far ill make this short. Just a few days ago my laptop suddenly had a notification saying it had to restart to repair something. I restarted and then i am stuck with a black screen saying that I have the Logonui.exe system error. So i tried a system restore to no avail tried the automatic and startup repair also fails tried the sfc and chkdsk if something was corrupted but the scan kept hanging. I checked the system log it kept posting on the blue screen until a text appeared saying No OS files found And it also said that the repair solution was a partitiontable repair? But I do not know what that is. Any help?

It is possible that you .exe is not working due to corrupted system files or account. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Does this happen with a specific application or with all of your application?
• Have you tried creating a new admin account to check if the issue also with new account or only with the current account?

USB drive will not run exes.

I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.

• Right click on the “.exe” file of the program and select properties.
• Under Compatibility tab, check the option for “Run in Compatibility mode”.
• Select the Operating System from the drop down list.
• Click on Apply and OK.
