Windows 10: long boot time, w/black screen

Discus and support long boot time, w/black screen in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; this is in regards to my Lenovo laptop (which lve added specs to on my profile) recently upgraded to the 2004 feature update OS build 19041-450, now...     this is in regards to my Lenovo laptop (which lve added specs to on my profile) recently upgraded to the 2004 feature update OS build 19041-450, now granted prior to this my system was slow to start, ended up turning off fastboot which sped things up slightly (as l did have a similar issue prior) in fact lm pretty sure its graphics related as l did a clean install and things sped up much faster after the clean uninstall but slowed right back down after the current drivers were installed.

    however to be quite honest its not really a new issue, just got more annoying after the recent 2004 feature update got thrown at me to download, kind of regret doing it as it took the best part of 8 hours from start to finish. regardless l was wondering if there were other tweaks l could do or programs l could run to see whats eating up my boot time only thing lve not touched at the moment is the page file which is still currently system managed.

    I would suggest you try the power troubleshooter if you are able to boot into the system.

    Follow the steps below.

    • Press Windows key + W and type Troubleshooting.
    • Select Troubleshooting and click on System and Security.
    • Click on Power and follow the onscreen steps.
    For black screen issues click on the link below and refer the suggestions by Sharath Srinivasa.

    Long Loading Time for Lock Screen

    Hello Pawan, thank you for the reply!

    I've tried all of the steps that you've given me. Unfortunately, none of them made a difference except for the clean boot step. It didn't completely solve the problem, however I did notice a
    slightly faster load time for the lock screen. However, it still takes an unusually long time to load it. Any other suggestions?
