    "Look like this isn't a Microsoft account" message while it is when setting up a new laptop


    HiI received a new laptop as part of a warranty issue with the old one.Couldn't login with my organization user so I set it up using private Microsoft user and now I'm trying to add the organization account through the add work/school account.I still don't have access for some reason.I keep getting this annoying message :"Look like this isn't a Microsoft account"On the older laptop everything works smoothly with this account.Appreciate any help

    Printer isn´t working after latest update.

    After the latest update from Windows, my Canon Pixma ip6600 printer isnt working. In Device Manager it shows up as working properly but when I go to print it isn´t listed as an option in any programs. Troubleshoot suggests it´s a USB 2 printer on a USB
    3 port and that that´s the problem but that cant be since it worked fine before the update. I´ve tried to uninstall and plug it back in but that doesn´t work either.

    Hi Micheal,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    • Is this the only account on the computer?
    • Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

    It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

    • Click on search in taskbar and type account.
    • Click on Accounts.
    • Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
    • Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
    • Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.
