Windows 10: Looking for a new Laptop recommendations for DAW and Editing Softwares

Hello here.

I’m looking to buy a new laptop as my old one is dead (it was quite old, a Toshiba Satellite L655 I had for more than 10 years). I’m planning using it mainly for FlStudio and Some editing video and photo like Premiere and Photoshop. I’m not at all into gaming.

I’m looking for something for 400-500€ max (though I don’t mind buying a used laptop reconditioned).

I’m quite a noob actually and there so many things, I don’t really know where to start.

I’ve read that I need a good CPU. Should I go with 4 cores? What about the GHz ?

I’m planning about getting a good Ram since I would also like to use editing softwares such as premiere pro. My old laptop couldn’t handle so well the video editing. Would 16 GB be enough?

What about the SSD or HDD?

And what about the ASIO Audio Interface? I have a midi controller but it was annoying with my old laptop because I had latency, I couldn’t really play live.

I’m quite lost in all that’s available actually, if someone had some recommandations it would be really helpful. Thanks.

DAW Pc

Hi, If there are any computer music producers out there, I’m looking at buying a new pc for running Reason 6.5 DAW.
What are the recommended specs (processor, RAM, motherboard, etc. for running the software, budget around £1000?
