  1. Looking for known network issues with recent windows updates

We are currently trouble shooting some issues (no, I don't have a relevant error message) that might be related to a windows update.

Are there know current issues with some recent (in the last month) updates?

I have googled and not found what I am looking for.

  2. Known issues with Office and Windows 10

We’re sorry about this, and appreciate you writing in about it. We have two regularly-updated documents that we think will help fix the issue for you.

Can you take a look, try what’s suggested, and let us know whether it worked?

    Lost saved/known networks

    Hi ItsSophie

If that update has wiped that list of known networks (it should not have wiped them), I am sorry, it will not be possible to automatically get that list back, that list is stored in the registry at the location below and that update must have cleaned out your
    registry

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles

You will need to log back into each network to re-add that back to the list of known networks, sorry . . .

    Network Connectivity Issue

    Hi,

The problem you've encountered with your network connection is most likely caused by an outdated network driver since this appeared after the recent update. We suggest updating the driver for your network adapter. Please follow the steps below:

    • Right-click Windows key and click Device Manager.
    • Expand the Network adapters category.
    • Right-click the one that says Ethernet Connection, then click
      Update Driver
      .
    • Select Search automatically for updated driver software.
    • If Windows is unable to find a new driver for your network adapter, try checking its manufacturer's website.

If the above steps don't work, try reinstalling the driver. Here's how:

    • Open Device Manager, right-click the name your network adapter, then select
      Uninstall.
    • Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

    Update us with the result.

    Regards.
