Windows 10: Loose power when I play games but pc still runnjng

When I turn on my PC, I only go on like YouTube. My PC is working fine but when I play games my monitor turns off loose of power to mouse and keyboard. I have this problem for a while. Now I swapped the hard drives and it still do the same . I had a Windows 10 on old and 11 on the new and I still have same problem

• Have you tried using other browsers like Edge?
• What error message are you getting?
• Can you provide more details on the troubleshooting steps that you have tried so far?

Did you check the game compatibility with Windows 10?

I would suggest you to go through the below steps:

Steps: Try to run the program in compatibility mode:

  Right click on the game icon through which you launch the game.

  Click on properties.

  Click on compatibility tab.

  Check the box, run this program in compatibility mode and select the previous operating system.

Laptop goes to sleep when the LID is closed while playing the game.

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• Have you connected the external monitor to the Laptop?
• Did you make any recent changes prior to the issue?
• Are you facing this issue specifically when playing the specific Game?
• Are you facing this issue after any recent updates installed?

This issue might have caused due to the power settings for the closing of LID is set to sleep mode.

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + X keys and select the Control Panel.
• Select Power options by searching in search box.
• Right side select Change Plan setting next to the power plans.
• Select the Change advanced Power plan settings.
• Under the list select and expand Power buttons and lid.
• Select Turn off the display under the drop down of setting.
• Click Apply. Ok.
• Close the LID and Check if the issue resolves.
