    Loosing connection, Default Gateway not available


    Hey Forum!

    Every time I start my computer I have no Internet connection.
    When I troubleshoot it says "Default Gateway is not available"

    In order for it to work I have to unplug and replug my Ethernet cable. Then it works for a wile before it decides not to work.

    Things I've tried so far:
    Installed the latest drivers for the network adapter.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled the adapter.
    Restarted my router
    Changed port on the router
    Changed ethernet cable
    Turned off Power saving setting for the network
    Things I've tried in CMD as Admin
    netsh int ip reset
    Ipconfig /release
    Ipconfig /renew
    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /registerdns
    sfc/scannow
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
    dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    When I try to ping Default Gateway it times out.

    Tried manually put an IP
    I still have Wifi on my phone and PS4, and my laptop (WinXP) has connection through cable.
    I don't have a Wifi dongle for my pc to try it out.

    It feels like I've tried everything.
    Like I said, the only solution I have so far is to unplug and replug the ethernet cable.
    Half of the stuff I've tried has probably nothing to do with this issue, but sometimes you just get desperate.
    What have I missed?

    The default gateway is not available.

    After installing W10 on my Acer E1-571 I keep loosing the internet connection. After troubleshooting I get it back with the statement "The default gateway is not available", but later on I loose it again. This continues like that for months now.

    My other PC is working OK.

    The "default gateway not available error" occurs frequently when connected to my ISP's modem. This causes the internet connection to drop frequently and I have to run the troubleshooter to restore connection. I have gone through
    all of the steps in the article

    The problem persists.

    Windows 10 default gateway repeatedly not available

    I used the term "loosing default gateway" because when the troubleshooter fixes the problem it says that the problem was that the default gateway wasn't available, so I figured my adapter somehow lost connection to it or something similar had happended.

    I looked up the Default Gateway's IP as you suggested and there was an IPv4 and also an IPv6 address next to it. Although I couldn't ping any other computers on the network. When I tried to renew my address after release The cmd just printed out "Windows
    IP configuration" but it timed out, and couldn't finish properly.

    In the event viewer there are two warnings about an URL couldn't be resolved, other than that just information events.
