Windows 10: Lose connection with mobile hotspot during windows 11 update

Hi. I need helps with the issue i currently facing. I have make sure to connect my laptop to my mobile hotspot before click the update and restart. During update i realise that my hotspot has lose connection and turn off. I quickly turn it on and only within 10 minutes do the connection is back again. This is where the issue lies the update is stuck. Any solution to this sort of problem

How to Disable mobile hotspot SSID

Hello Jimbo,

To better assist you, please follow the steps on how to turn off mobile hotspot on your Windows 10 device:

• Open Settings, click Network & Internet icon
• Click / tap on Mobile Hotspot on the left side, and turn off Share your Internet connection with other devices.
  
• Any devices currently connected to your mobile hotspot will lose connection.

We appreciate that you have tried the suggested steps above. Have you tried to connect other devices to the mobile hotspot on your PC?

Since the issue is still the same, we suggest that you uninstall/reinstall the network adapter driver and check if this will resolve the issue. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device manager.
  
• 
  Locate for Network adaptor and click on it expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the device and click on
  uninstall.
  
• 
  Once you are done uninstalling the driver, restart the computer. It will automatically install the generic network adapter driver.
  

We can also update the network adapter driver. Skip step 3 from the above steps and right click on the device and click on update.
