Windows 10: lose videos when saving from SD card to comptuer

when I download videos from my trail camera SD card to computer I may see several hundred videos on the disc. But the download always crashes part way through. I do a deep scan data recovery with Stellar Data Recovery and only get back the videos I've already downloaded. I typically lose several hundred in the middle portion of the collection. When I go back to look at the disc contents again the disc is corrupted and inaccessible. I only have the option of formatting the disc. I have tried saving a few files at a time to the computer. Still crashes. I have tried watching the videos on the dis

Videos are not stored on SD-card

I appreciate if you could answer few questions to narrow down to the issue.

• Have you already configured the SD card in such a way that it stores the videos directly to SD card?
• Are you referring to the video taken from the device camera or other offline videos?

If you have already configured the SD card in such a way that it directly saves to the SD card, then I suggest you to upgrade the device to the latest build 14383 and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

music/videos/pictures not getting saved in SD card

i have tried following things.

• Inserted the card in phone and formatted through 'Setttings'. Then clicked the picture.Pictures didnt show in camera roll. Checked SD card on PC and Android device, it was working fine.Pictres were there in Camera roll folder.
  
• Formatted the SD card through PC. Reinserted the SD card in phone. Tried same, but picture didnt get saved.Checked SD card on PC, there were folders created by windows phone say Pictures, Music etc. .Pictres were there in Camera roll folder.
• Formatted the SD card through PC with exFAT format and repeated the step 2.
• Formatted the SD card through PC , Inserted it in phone so that the folder could be created.This time i Reinserted the card in PC and transferred the music in 'Music' folder.Reinserted it into phone,checked in phone Settings>System>Phone Storage>SD card
  , here 'Music' says 0 bytes and 'other' says 5 MB as the song was of 5 MB.
• Formatted the SD card through PC with FAT32 format and repeated the step 4.

Every time i checked the card on android device , it worked fine with android.Even now the SD card is working fine with PC and android device.I have formatted it about 50 times till now but no result.

As of the moment, the feature to view the videos locally saved on SD card is unavailable. You might need to use an alternative app to view videos from your SD card. Meanwhile, you can send feedback and suggestion using the Feedback Hub app to help us improve
Windows 10 Mobile.

• Go to All Apps, search for the Feedback Hub
  app.
• Open the menu icon at the top left side.
• Select Feedback, then at the top right side, tap the add button (+).
• Select Suggestion or Problem and fill up the box with the details needed.
