Windows 10: Losing mind over this issue for years. After some time internet connection just randomly...

Honestly I don't understand why this is even happening in the first place as this is one of the strangest bugs I've ever encountered.After some time not sure exactly as its different for each time, can be hours or 2-3 days etc. the internet connection just doesn't work? My PC is connected over ethernet with a CAT6 cable and I have a 250 up/down connection. The windows 10 toolbar shows I have connection, it does show i'm connected and also has the name of the network etc. all there but there is simply no internet. The applications that require internet connection stops working and when I try

Randomly losing internet

I'm having this incredibly annoying problem where my desktop randomly loses internet connection. Restarting the PC doesn't fix it, resetting the router doesn't fix it, I just have to wait until it comes back. I'm currently running a virus scan just in case something sneaked in.

Anyone ever come across anything like this before?

You mean you're dropping of the network, or do you only lose internet access? If 1, could be a sign of NIC going bad. If 2, could be a sign of router going bad, or just your ISP having some issues.

Wired or wireless? What are you connected too, and what is your internet connection do you have?
