Windows 10: Loss of audio

Recently lost the ability to play a turntable thru the USB port via a USB Audio CODEC input. I believe a Windows 10 update is responsible for this problem. Have checked connections; Sound card properties for both record and playback; latest driver installations, etc. Other streaming services such as YouTube poay just fine using the HiDef Audio device. Any other suggestions to repair?

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.

Sound loss

In most cases, you may experience a sound loss if its audio driver is incompatible with the installed latest Windows version. For us isolate the issue, we suggest that you update the device's audio driver by following the steps given on this article:

  Try to play a Test Tone and let us know if it worked
