  1. Loss of folder permissions after automatic update on 6/9/2020

My computer was automatically updated on 6/9/2020. I did not use the computer until the next day when I tried to start Outlook. After trying several solutions I reinstalled the Office360 suite. Next, I tried to run some other programs and found that both the Program Files and the Program Files86 folders were lacking permissions for both System and Administrator. The system will not let me add settings for these accounts. I restored the computer to its state before the application of the upgrade but nothing changes.

    :)

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
