    Cannot put icons on the left side of my desktop

    Hi Charlie,

    You should be able to arrange your desktop icons however you want. Since you want them all aligned on the left side of your desktop screen, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Right-click at a blank area on your desktop.
    • Hover on View.
    • In the right pane, look for Auto arrange icons. If it's checked, make sure to uncheck it.
    • Hover again on View.
    • This time, check Align icons to grid. Your icons should now be aligned on the left side of the screen.

    Desktop screen an inch of my screen on all four sides is cut off - Windows 10.

    Original Title - Sides of my screen are cut off.

    Last night when I went to sleep, I noticed my computer had some updates to install so I went ahead and installed them. When I woke up I noticed that the update was Windows 10. After about 2 minutes of my brother telling me that he hates windows 10, prefers
    windows 7 and I should find a way to revert back; I gave in and decided to continue with setup.

    After a few minutes my computer finally came up to my desktop screen only for me to find that an inch of my screen on all four sides is cut off. I have tried to alter my screen's resolution, I have downloaded new drivers for my graphics card (my chip set
    is an AMD Radeon R7 200 series). I have searched forum post and everything else and I have tried everything suggested to no avail.

    Any more suggestions will be helpful. Please and thank you.

    P.S. My computer was built from the ground up, so there is no true make and model.
