Windows 10: Lost 1GB RAM after Windows 10 Update

Hello,Around june my computer installed an update after that i lost 1GB of RAM, I hoped a future update will fix it, but i didnt.I have tried a lot optimazions. They did speed up the system at all a little bit, but they didnt actually fixed the problem.The Update wasnt a function update and no upgrade to win11 so it should take this much more ram.Because i was always monitoring Memory i know pretty good how much i used. I have 8GBActually before the update the use was:after Restart 1,7GBwhen several stuff open 2GBAfter the update:after Restart 2,7GBwhen several stuff open 3,1GBThese are avera

Question: Is Win 10 Optimized for Devices With 1GB RAM?

swagger, before responding without sounding ignorant, I decided to do a 5 second web search. See the image below:




As you'll see, Win 10 32 bit only requires 1gb, which I have. im not expecting this to perform like my Intel i7, dual SSD, SLI gaming system. But when I compare the same system with Win 8.1 vs Win 10, both 32 bit, Win 8.1 is the faster for me. By the way, Win 10 will be out at this rev level for some time supporting 1gb of RAM, so I am talking about current systems for the next few years. I apologize you feel you wasted your time reading this and replying but that is only your fault for doing so and feeling your time was wasted.

Now, back to intelligent responses, @billybob, I unfortunately am up to date on updates to Win 10. This tablet isn't unusable, but it is visibly slower. But thank you for the suggestion.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
