Windows 10: Lost a profile account

Hello, my computer has 2 sign-in profile accounts, one is mine admin and one is my brother's. Yesterday, when I tried to shut down my computer, I encountered an issue: I couldn't shut down because the power button said "There are Currently No Power Options Available". Then I googled for solutions and I followed steps on this website: https://appuals.com/fix-there-are-currently-no-power-options-available/. The issue has been fixed and I was able to shut down. But today, when I turned on my computer, at the sign-in screen, there was only one profile to sign in, it was mine, and my brother

Lost default photo viewer after profile rebuild

Thanks Brink. I've tried those steps before i started searching Google. After the profile rebuild i don't have the Photo app listed to choose to make it default in either the system settings for default apps or the Open With option.

I can't even find it doing a search. Seems to have been removed somehow with the profile rebuild, which doesn't make sense.

Might be helpful to list what i've done I've done the open with check, the choose default program in the system menu, tried that in device manager default programs also. I've checked the programs and features Turn windows features on/off and it's not listed there (never thought it was but that was a suggestion), searched the MS Store, it's not listed there either.

I don't like playing in the registry unless i have defined steps and haven't found anything for this yet, just the Win7 version like in my OP.

1. When you say “main one” is it local account or Microsoft account?

2. Did you make any changes in the account settings?

I suggest you to login to the account where the files are missing and then follow the below steps.

• Open the Run by Windows+ R and then Enter.
• Press . ( the full stop button in the keyboard) and then Enter.
• Check whether you could see the user profile files.
