Windows 10: Lost access to various Windows functions

Greetings:For reasons unknown, I've lost access to various windows functions on the taskbar and associated hot keys. These include:Start MenuSearchNetworkSoundInkTime/DateNotification CenterAll other non-Windows icons work fine.I've tried warm/cold reboots and restarting the File Explorer process in the Task Manager. I also tried using the Troubleshooters form MS Support, but they couldn't access the Settings screen.All assistance would be appreciated.

Lost Two Mouse Functions

I recently did a system restore on my laptop and have, it seems, lost two mouse functions as a result. The two to which I am refering are, the scrolling feature and the zoom feature. I have searched google for a solution, but all rely things which I have no access to. More specifically, most suggest going to "mouse and touchpad settings," and then click on "additional mouse options." However, if you refer to the pictures here, I am missing the following tabs: Wheel, Hardware, and Device Setting.

PS It seems that i have lost all functions except its "ordinary" mouse capability.

 

Somewhere along the way I lost my context menu print function

Hi, have you ever used any tool such as Shellexview (free) to disable context menu entries?

Try downloading and installing and running that and see if you see a list of entries listed as disabled.

Print is a default Windows item, so if lost suggests some sort of corruption may have occurred.

As a matter of course, try running
chkdsk c: /scan
and then if ok
SFC /SCANNOW
- both from an admin command or powershell prompt and post the result.

What is your Windows build?
Windows key + R, winver

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
