Windows 10: Lost audio file for no apparent reason

I made a cool melody for one of my songs, I then saved it as a wav file. I woke up the next day and it had disappeared from the folder I was saving it in.So I opened up the media player app and I found the audio clip. But when I tried to listen to it I got this message, "We couldn't open *my file* as we can't get to your storage right now. Wait a bit, then try again. 0x80070002". So I tried restarting my pc, that didnt work. Then I deleted the contents of the software distribution folder, that didnt work either. SO WHAT IS THE DAMN PROBLEM!

Lost Sound to HDMI TV. Not hidden, apparently deleted.

This is a common concern when there is an issue with the connection, driver incompatibility, buggy updates, software conflicts and such. For us to determine what's causing this, provide information on the following:

• Is your TV a smart TV?
• Did your PC recently updated? (Settings > Update & Security > Update history)
  
• The type of file that you're playing. (Right click on the file and check properties)
• Windows Version and OS Build (Settings > System > About)
• When you said "apparently deleted" are you referring to the audio file?
• The app that you are using in playing the media.

For now, we suggest isolating the if it's a software or hardware concern.

• Try to play the media in the PC only and check if you can hear the sounds in it.
• Use the HDMI cable on a different device and see if it's responding.
• Check the audio file that your TV supports. It might not support certain audio type.

HDMI audio broke for no apparent reason

HDMI audio is governed by your graphics card driver.

So step 1 of any technical problem solving is to update your graphics driver.

 

Can not record audio.
