Windows 10: Lost back up

    Lost back up


    Last night I backed up the files on my husband's and my own profiles to our external hard drive before resetting the computer and reinstalling Windows 10. I selected the option to keep files and folders but did the backups just in case... The reset got stuck on 74% and after a few hours I powered off. After several attempts I eventually got Windows 10 to reinstall. However all the files and folders are missing. No problem I thought, I'll restore them from the backup. Problem is the computer can't find the backup and neither can I. I have an awful feeling I've lost everything . Any suggestio
