Windows 10: Lost Bluetooth capability after regular windows update

Prior to the regular Windows 10 update this morning, my Dell Bluetooth travel mouse on my Dell Inspiron 3593 worked just fine. After the latest update 10.0.19042, NOTHING. My laptop no longer has Bluetooth capabilities. I'm unable to update any Bluetooth drivers. I've used the Bluetooth trouble shooter with no results. I didn't have a restore point wasn't aware I needed to turn it on, when I checked it stated that system protection was turned off.And yes, I even changed batteries in the mouse, even though that can't be the issue.Help!

Lost Bluetooth Capability

Hello!

After a recent set of updates, my computer claims to have lost it's bluetooth capability. The bluetooth icon has disappeared and the usual toggle to turn bluetooth on or off is also missing, making it impossible to connect any devices.

My Windows version is

Version 1803 (OS Build 17134.165)

and the laptop itself is a Dell Precision 5510

if there is any way to fix this, please let me know, I have a bluetooth mouse that I need to use for work.
