Windows 10: Lost connection to NAS and Wifi Printer after recent Window 11 update.

Hello there, looking for help to resolve this. My desktop pc is the only PC had lost connection to the NAS and wifi printers after Window 11 update. My other PCs have no problem in connecting to NAS and wifi printer. Any help to resolve this would be appreciated. The printers and NAS no longer visible in the Network view.

Lost wifi connection to printer

After working properly for a long time my printer lost the wifi connection to my computer with Windows 10. The 'Printers' item does not even appear under 'Devices', although there is a 'Print Queues' item. I have tried all the configuration options that
I can think of. Does anyone have suggestions? Thank you.

 

sharing a printer through wifi connection

I'm trying to share a printer (canon mp730) through a wifi network. My computer (windows vista) is connected to the printer directly. The other computer is windows xp.

When I'm working on the xp machine and press "print", it opens a dialog box and form there I select "find printer". When I click on that, it shows me the printer connected to the Vista machine select print, I get a warning message saying "you are about to install a printer driver on your machine...blah blah". I click "yes" on that and then get a message saying that the server for the printer does not have the correct printer driver installed. What to do? It seems like I've got the latest driver for the mp730 installed on both machines.

 

Printer visible on network but can't connect

Well I had done all of the suggested steps but in wrong order. I updated router firmware, but still couldn't see printer. When I then reinstalled the new driver I had downloaded, it located the printer and all is now running fine. How complex this can get!
