Windows 10: Lost Drive D space in windows server 2012 r2 without any reason

Hi there,I have a problem with my windows server 2012 R2 need your help:I have two Drives in the server: Drive C: & Drive F:So Drive C: is for the installation system. Drive F: is for backup any data and shared folders as well. Storage is 1Tfew weeks ago the drive F: is disappeared from 1T and remains only 5GB and this seem is what we have set Quota folders. So how do we make it back to normal 1T in our Drive F:?any need to clarify please let me know Note: DATA F: 1T but now 5GB. this is the problem.Thanks

Is this a correct way to do? If I follow this step, will my data be erased?

I want to avoid formatting/fresh Windows install because there are some software in the server that we do not know how to backup. We just want to get it activated now, backup will be sorted out later.

 

Windows Server 2008 R2 upgrade to Windows Server 2012 R2

I have server with Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard, license type OEM. I made upgrade from Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard to Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard. I tried to activate it with my Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard product key, but it didn´t work. How I activate my Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard?

HELP Moving Server Essentials 2012 R2 Storage Spaces to Windows 10 Pro

Windows 10 Pro version 21H2.

The power supply in my Windows Server 2012 R2 Essentials Home domain controller died about three weeks ago. After adding a new modular power supply, my troubles began. Everything was going well until the reboot when I received an error message that a USB OverCurrent event occurred and the system would shutdown in 15 sec. After spending several days and hours troubleshooting, including removing all peripherals and USB connections, I was getting nowhere so, as a last resort, I took the server to a local computer repair service. $75 later, their technician also had gotten nowhere. He decided that the new power supply blew the 10-year old ASUS LGA1155 workstation motherboard.

I decided that it wasn't worth replacing the totally outdated motherboard nor was it worth upgrading that system. I decided to stop running a domain and instead go to a Synology DS220+ NAS primarily for backup going forward. Before doing so, however, I have to move the data from my Storage Spaces drive to my Windows 10 PC and then to the NAS. I especially do not want to lose the tons of software programs stored on the server.

My understanding is that I "should" be able to move the "Control Space" drives to my Windows 10 computer to access the data and then move it to the NAS. I have spent most of the past two weeks trying to accomplish, without any luck whatsoever.

After moving one of my SATA cards from the server to my Windows 10 PC and the corresponding drives, This is what I see when I open "Manage Control Spaces" on my Windows 10 PC:

When I opened the "manage" program, it did some significant disk repair on the "F:" drive. The system does a little more repair on that drive every time I reboot.

How do I view the data on these drives? I am so lost!!! It's been nearly 10 years since I set up the Storage Spaces on that server. I did have to add a couple more drives to it several years ago (the two WDC WD30EFRX 3Tb NAS drives). At least both of those drives show "OK". Doesn't this mean that I should be able to access their data?? But HOW??? Step-by-step, please.

I will be more-than-happy to provide any additional data and/or info that might be needed to provide some help. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
