Lost everything due to yet another forced update.

Roughly 3 days after every update, whatever planned obsolescence program windows uses interferes with my graphics drivers and causes an irreversible black screen, requiring a restart. And over the last 6 years this has happened for every update, and only for updates. There is no solution to it. There's obviously a hardware incompatibility issue as every fresh install yields the same results.

Please end planned obsolescence. I have tried everything to stop your forced updates and it's notifications. This is my property and I will choose to update it on my own terms. And not when I'm in the middle of work. And I have lost so much work over the years because if it. The only reason your company is allowed to get away with this is because you're an oligopoly and you have cornered the market with yet another corporate cult; Apple. And Ubuntu is no alternative.

The world needs a new OS. The market is obviously suffering from late stage capitalism.

Lost everything due to yet another forced update.

windows 10 force upgrade! stuck at welcome screen and lost all files after upgrade.

    Hi,

Are you able to log into computer?

This issue might have occurred because of upgrade file corruption. Follow the steps below and check.

I suggest you to create a Windows 10 installation media and perform a Startup Repair on the device and check if it helps to resolve the issue.
This is an alternate way to boot the device and run recovery tools when something goes wrong with the Operating system.

Please follow the steps below to do Startup repair:

    Steps:-

            • Insert the installation USB drive
and boot Windows 10 from it.

If you don't have one, you can Create an installation Media.

            • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’
and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.

            • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

            • Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Startup Repair’
              and select the operating system.
