    Lost license key


    Hi there, In August 2018 I bought a license key for Windows 10 on microsoft.com. I paid with PayPal and I still have order confirmation mail from PayPal. However, I can't find the order confirmation mail from Microsoft. Since the computer where that Windows was installed got a hardware upgrade the license key is now lost. Is there anyway to recover the license key based on transaction id from PayPal? Not sure what are my options? :/ Thanks in advance.

    i lost my hd. mobo and processor on my old pc.. i bought a new pc today. and i'm trying to recovery my serial key or my digital license..but can't find how to do it.. already try some steps given but cant find where my digital license is or my windows
    serial key is..not sure wich one i have...

    I have lost my bitlocker recovery key and tried following the recovery steps. I have also searched and tried following the command prompts suggested but none have worked.

    License Key

    The Win7 key can only be retrieved if Win7 was an in-place upgrade - or if that install was backed up.

    If Win 10 was clean installed with the Win 7 key, unfortunately it morphed into a digital licence and the key got lost in translation.
