Windows 10: Lost most of my app and software files after windows update

hi... so yesterday i was using my laptop then suddenly i got a recommendation to update the windows : 2024-10 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5044033. idk but this update appears to be a big update for me, it said that this update brings new feature and stuffs, and the updating process showed a little different look of the interface to the normal one. few minutes after it, it was restarting the pc but it shows "undoing changes made to your computer", and i started to doubt this update.And once it restarted, i unlock my laptop then i s

Thanks! This LGS they started a couple years ago is simple, and very nice, while not being hugely bloated. It's one of the few pieces of hardware-related software I like.
