Windows 10: Lost my Admin rights after switching from Family 365 to Business 365 can't seem to achieve...

Hi I recently about 4 months ago switched from Family 365 subscription and changed to a 365 Standard Business package. My laptop is registered under my 'Family' Outlook account **********@outlook.com. which is what I was using when I purchased the laptop. I have since closed this subscription no point in paying out for 2 accounts and I think this is when I lost Admin rights. I've not needed to perform any admin tasks in the following months until today so was unaware of the problem.I would prefer to add a local account for my laptop as this is unlikely to change and I use my 365 Business a

Cortana & Office 365 Integration

We are trying to integrate Cortana with our Office 365 subscription, but it never works. Here are the steps we have done:

• Turned on Cortona in the Office 365 Admin portal
• We are using Windows 10 1703 – connected Office 365 service to Cortana

Did the same on windows 10 mobile with no luck, Cortana says its connected to Office 365, but sees no data and we are getting zero errors

We went rough office 365 support first and tried all fo their suggestions, they kicked us over to Windows support which is currently closed.

We are on v1703 with all updates in place, it does not work on Windows 10 desktop or mobile

any ideas? I can give you all steps 365 support had us run through if that will be helpful

Admin roles in the Microsoft 365 admin center

No problem, those rights you have are only for managing the Microsoft 365 portal.

The dialog you received in your screenshot needs administrator rights on your local PC.

This can be achieved by either giving you local admin rights on the PC, or some form or domain administrator rights if the PC is part of a domain.
