Windows 10: Lost My Printer (Lexmark E234)

I up-graded my Samsung notebook to Windows 10 and now I don't have a printer. I went to Lexmark's wed site and downloaded what E-234 printer driver but I still have nothing. I've already spent hours trying to figure this out so before I uninstall windows 10 what are my options.

A software update regarding Epson printers

This software update just appeared on my laptop. I see that an Epson printer has been added to my list of printers. I have never owned an Epson, so did not download the update.

I have a Lexmark printer, there are now two Lexmark printer names appearing in my list. I lost the ability to print via network after 'upgrading' ? to Windows 10.

are these updates going to continue for various printer models?

I've tried everything. I was a Mainframe programmer for 15 years w Cobol IMS DB2 and all IBM Utilities. I'm just helpless w this Driver problem for my PC printer. Just got Monthly(Tuesday) Windows update. Still cant locate/find Lexmark printer, USB 3.0 or
Wireless. My HP printer sucks but works. I Have come to depend on that Lexmark X6550 n have 2 sets of printer cartridges ready for office work.

Truly ODD that the Lexmark Website Driver downloads, checks out and does NOT work. I'm pissed at Microsoft.

Can anyone tell me more about Editing my BIOS or what I need to do next. Sincerely, Loyal Microsoft customer. Ward Freed,

Did you get the driver/software from here:

It shows drivers for both 32-bit and 64-bit Win10, get whichever your version of Windows is [right-click the Start button, click System to determine].



You may have to use Control Panel, Device and Printers to Delete it then look in Control Panel, Programs and Features to uninstall any software associated with Lexmark.

 

Delete any Lexmar printer in your PC and Follow this video to install any printer.

I've done all of the above many times and when I try to print I get an Error.
