Windows 10: Lost of file

I had made a digital copy of my seed to my blockchain i was away and didn't want to make a paper copy and hid it in one of the microsoft edge's update folders under a similar name but to the point where i knew which one it was and then a few days later i go on my laptop and the update folder had been wiped. I haven't updated my laptop or the browser. All that was left was a .ink version in my appdata roaming that was a shortcut.


Is there anyway to recover? I have no system restore points. Any specific programs? I've tried UnEase

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
