Windows 10: Lost partitions encrypted by Bit Lockers!

Hi,

I have lost my 2 partitions. They are no more visible in 'This PC".

Previously, I had total 4 partitions in my PC. I had encrypted 2 partitions via Bit Locker and C Drive was not encrypted. Somehow, both partitions are not be shown in My PC and only C Drive is visible now.

Both the D and E drives encrypted by Bit locker have vanished. Now 298 GB is hsown as Unknown but locked data Which basically has 2 partitions=----------------- NEED HELP!


When i check 'Disk Management', it seems both partitions have merged but still encrypted by bitlockerr.

not sure how did it happen.

Bit locker Encryption

Hello Fiends,

Actually my problem is that i have previously installed windows 7 ultimate(32 bit) in my desktop and to protect my data,
encrypted the "D drive" using bit locker, then after few months, i installed
windows 10 pro(64 bit) in my desktop without disabling the bit locker, after installation i was able to access my locked drive with same password.

Till here everything was fine, but after some days my Desktop started to lag then again i switched to
windows 7 ultimate(64 bit).

But Now i'm not able to access my encrypted drive which was locked by bit locker with same password.

While i'm trying to unlock the encrypted drive i'm getting the massage as
"Unable to Complete the requested operation because of either a catastrophic media failure
or a data structure corruption on the disk".

Pls Help.

I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with encrypting the hard drive on Windows 10.

This issue might be due to problems with change in group policy settings for bit locker.

To assist you better, please provide us the below information:

• Have you created any system restore point on the computer prior to the issue?

I suggest you to manage the bit locker settings in the group policy settings by following the below link and check if it helps.

First before performing any changes in Bit locker settings, I suggest you to create System Restore point on the computer. So that we can restore back to previous Windows state if any issues occurs.

Bit locker

HI i got a issue regarding the bit locker. One of my drive got the encrypted in bit locker, neither the key is available on Microsoft account nor got saved on my USB. how can i resolve it. Currently i am using Windows 10 Home version.
