Windows 10: Lost password and reinstallation

I have acquired a 6 year old all-in-one HP PC. The password is lost. I am trying to do a new install from a Windows 10 USB flash drive I have just purchased with a new license. I can boot into setup, but when I am asked which partition to install Windows 10 64-bit to, I show three partitions, a reserved partition, a system partition, and a primary partition. I get a message telling me that Windows cannot be installed to any of the partitions because the disc has an MBR partition table, and that I must have a GPT partition table to be able to install Windows.If I try to reformat the disk, nothi

Lost My Administrator Password

To which "this" are you referring?
- If you are following the tutorial Bree suggested in the very first reply to your question then what you need to do at each step is explained in detail. So which step are you at?
- If you are following a different procedure then state what it is and which step you are at. If, for example, you are trying to manually enable the Built-In Admin as suggested in post #11 then that account has no password.

Microsoft won't give you a "temp" password, as you are dealing with Security of an Account.
