Windows 10: Lost photos in folders around 12/15/2021after critical Windows update

Tried to take my computer back to the 15th the date of the critical update and was basically reported that it could not be done. Is there any way to find my 100s of photos. Contacted HP today and was told they cannot be found ??? Im the only one on this computer and I did not deliberately delete my years of family photos.

Lost favorites with auto update of 12/31/15

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Check Favorites folder in User profile.

  Open C: Drive.
  
• 
  Select User.
  
• 
  Select user profile.
  
• 
  Click on Favorites.
  
• 
  If you’re able to see the favorites list, then you will be able to import the Favorites from there.

If the images are missing after the upgrade, I would like to inform you that the images that are missing will be located in the Windows. Old folder. I suggest you to check Windows .Old folder for the missing images.

Windows. Old folder will be located in This PC > access the drive where Operating System has been installed, there you would be able to locate Windows. Old folder.
