Windows 10: Lost photos while transferring from android to Windows 10

I was transferring photos from my android phonewhose memory was almost full to my new own build-up PCwindows 10 through the phone charger cord. Now for once it did come to my mind that what if all my transferred pictures don't get saved, but since i didn't have much time i just made a new folder in the camera roll and started cut-pasting all the picture to that folder.


Now it took 45 minutes for the transfer to be done and once it was done i simply removed the cord and did a double check on whether the pictures were saved or not.


And yup, the second time i checked the whole folder was gone.


I checked the recycle bin, hidden files and folders, file explore options, local file C, every damn folder i am aware of!


So now that i have lost hope, i would really appreciate if anyone of you could help this helpless person out.

1. How are you trying to transfer photos from iPhone?
   
2. Have you tried transferring photos from any other device?
   
3. Have you tried connecting the iPhone to any other PC to transfer photos?
   

I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.



Method 1:

Since you are unable to access the photos on the iPhone, I suggest you to refer the article on

DCOM event ID 10016 is logged in Windows.



Method 2:



Re-install iTunes and check.

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
   
2. Search for iTunes and click on it.
   
3. Now click on uninstall and follow the instructions.
