Windows 10: Lost recovery key, need to override

Motherboard failure caused system shutdown. Repair and restart requires a recovery key. Microsoft account stores only the last recovery key, and I have subsequently installed Windows11 on another computer. Therefore, I have lost this one. Microsoft does not warn or even notify you to save the recovery key before you overwrite it.I'm aware that I will lose all my data, but I want to restart Windows.

Password Override and Recovery Key

I cannot seem to get past my sign in page. I use the password I thought I used, then try the Windows password. No luck getting on. First how can I override the password page? Secondly, I would like to eliminate use of password, how do I do this? It
was suggested to just reset to factory settings if it was a local setup. I can't seem to get to the recovery key, just keep getting to question/ answer page. Hlep. Thanks

 

Lost BitLocker recovery key

I encrypted my laptop with BitLocker.

Unfortunately, I lost the Bitlocker recovery key.

Is there any way to find the key recovery key?

I know the recovery key ID!
