Cannot find 1440 * 900 resolution which is my optimized resolution in windows 10

    Hi abirdasgupta,

I had a monitor with 1440*900 resolution and found that most graphics cards did not support that resolution natively. This is because 1440*900 is neither 16:9 or any of the other standard rations . . .

The solution is to set a custom resolution on your Graphics card:

Right click your Desktop and choose nVidia Control Panel

On the left, click Change Resolution

At the bottom, click 'Create Custom Resolution'

If asked, agree to the Terms and Conditions'

In the resulting dialog, enter the required resolution and refresh rate

Click Test, to make sure you are happy with the result

Save and exit the Control Panel

Restart your PC to make sure the resolution holds

    That's It!

  3. Cannot find 1440 * 900 resolution which is my optimized resolution in windows 10

    Hello ,

My specs is i3 6th generation with 4gb DDR3 Ram. Yesterday I installed Nvidia GT 710 graphics card driver after installing the card in the slot. After installing the driver , I cant find the 1440*900 resolution in the display settings in Windows 10. I also
checked in advance adapter settings but unable to find it. Kindly help. Before installing the graphics driver , it is working fine with 1440*900 resolution. only VGA port

    lost resolution 1440 900

SMADY : I had an issue with my GTX 750 not wanting to accept nvidia drivers and thus the display adapter properties showed as a standard display adapter after the 1709 update.

I took a few days to study the problem including trying some different nvidia drivers which would not install before reverting back to win 10 ver 1703.

Today I reinstalled the update to ver 1709 and when the desktop screen came back up, I installed nvidia drivers ver 384.94 which is the ver that was working with win 10 ver 1703.

All is working well now and I am back at display resolution of 1920 x 1080

    Laterz,
