Windows 10: Lost USB connectivity with Pixel 6 when upgraded laptop to Win 11 V22H2

Seems my USB drivers don't work correctly after upgrading to Win 11 22H2. Pixel 6 phone will connect via USB cable to other computers - Win 7, Win 10, and Win 11 before I upgraded. How do I fix this?

Win10 Laptop Can't Connect to New iPhone 11

Just upgraded from iPhone 6s. USB connection sees all photos on the 6. But on the 11, usb connection shows barely 1 dozen out of thousands of photos. Laptop does not have iTunes installed. I connected both once by Bluetooth which went as expected but I didn't know what to do in Windows so I shut down overnight. Now in Bluetooth, iPhone 11 says it sees laptop and it's connected, but Win 10 laptop cannot see iphone device at all, but does see neighbors' devices, does not show iPhone 11 as either a drive or as a network device. Is there some Win10 registry sabotage here? Did I somehow tell Win10 never to see or connect to this iphone? Any ideas about how to get full connectivity? I've cold booted both devices repeatedly. Why can I connect Win 10 laptop directly to ONT but Windows 11 laptop will not connect?

Prior to asking this question I had already performed all the troubleshooting tasks you listed. I have quite a bit of experience troubleshooting PC's and was familiar with all your suggestions, none of which solved the issue.

Basically, the only difference between the two laptops was the Windows 10 unit only had 100 Mbps NIC and was running Windows 10 Pro, while the other laptop was running Win 11 Home and had a GB Ethernet NIC.

Before giving up, I made the choice to upgrade the Win 11 laptop to Pro and as soon as I did that, I was now able to directly connect to my ONT. This allowed me to prove that I am getting the speed I am paying for.

 

Android USB connection

I've got a new phone (Pixel 6) and it is failing to connect to WIN 10 properly. It is listed as an unspecified device and Windows reports that my ADB drivers are up to date. I am using the same cable that worked with my previous phone (Pixel 4). But the phone will not show in Windows.
