Windows 10: Lost "Yes" Button After Using Recommended Fix

Hello,I'm copying and pasting the title of a post created on 2/1/2024 by another user. I needed help to force delete the NGC folder. After applying the fix highlighted in yellow, I lost the "Yes" button on all my pop-up windows in Windows settings. I couldn't even run cmd as an administrator because I couldn't click Yes. I searched many posts here for a fix to UAC and added my account as a user and then an administrator through cmd. I ran sfc scan and DMIS. Nothing has worked. Lost recommended screen size... Now windows are too small

Please answer these question to assist you better.

• Which is the build installed in the Next book?
• What is recommended resolution you can see in Resolution settings?

Follow the steps below to check the build installed in the Next book.

• Click on Start button and tap on Settings.
• Click on System and Click on About.

Refer the steps to know the recommended resolution in system settings.

• Click on the empty space on Desktop and select
  Display settings.
• Click on Advance display settings; Under Resolution check for recommended settings.

Also install all pending Windows updates and check if that helps.

Check for updates under
Windows Updates.

4.
Restart the system and check if the issue is resolved.

It seems that the issue is with the Window Store app cache. We suggest that you clear Store cache by following these steps:

• Right-click the Start button and choose Run.
• In the Run window, type in wsreset.exe and click OK.
  
  An empty command prompt window will open up.
• When the reset is complete, this window will close and the Store window will open.

Let us know how it goes after performing the suggested troubleshooting steps.

I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.
