Windows 10: LOTS of attempted log in's to my latest Windows account.

Hi. Have had this Dell desktop for approx 1 month now. Windows 11. Been quite an adventure with all of the stuff Dell, Microsoft, and all the others want to connect you with, have you join, etc.I just noticed that there has been daily unsuccessful log-ins to my Microsoft account only since I got this computer. From all over the world. What the heck is going on?! Why now? How come? Will my Microsoft account eventually get hacked? Will they get into my computer?This is VERY concerning.Thanks to anyone who has some advice.

Many Log attempts on my account.

so recently I found out someone has gotten into my Microsoft account of cores I've since changed the password, but it prompted me to cheek my long in history and its staggering dozens of login attempts daily witch is worrying because thanks to how windows set up is Microsoft is how I login to my pc puss in the account there is an option to reset windows on my pc/devices witch I use for work hence possibly losing a lot of files so at this point I'm tempted to cut my losses and back up my files on an eternal hard drive and factory reset my pc and make a new account entirely with a brand new email it would be nice if there is a way to black list all Thies various log in attempts or at least make it so my account can't be login from other country's entirely as moats attempts are from China and Germany and I live in the USA

 

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown
