Windows 10: Low available memory leading to frequent not responding messages

Out of the 6GB installed memory on my machine, only 1-2GB is typically available. I frequently get app name not responding messages. Low memory message leading to no messaging??

About 10 days ago, a "low/full phone memory, delete data from phone" message kept popping up and when it did, my messaging stopped working. The thing is (and a Nokia rep at my service provider confirmed this), my phone memory is not full. I'm now receiving
the message several times a day (and therefore, my messaging is not working as a result). I have an E71 ... which I am ready to throw out the window ... Can anyone please help?

 

Message 'low on memory'

since the latest update from Microsoft, I am getting a message fairly frequently that says my computer is 'low on memory', and suggesting I close 'Intuit Personal Database Manager'. If I do close that, as suggested, it closes my Quickbooks application,
and tells me it is a 'fatal closure'. Yikes!

In general, when this happens, I have Outlook, Excel, and Quickbooks open. And, I run Quickbooks through QBox. No trouble before the latest Windows automatic update.

• Type Troubleshooting in Search.
