Windows 10: Low contrast unpleasant hilight color in context menu

So I updated to Windows 11 a while ago and the classic contex menu should appear with a blue highlight for selected items, mine appear like nearly the same color. Is there a way to bring it back ?I already tried modifying the HKLU/Control Panel/Colors and HKLU/Control Panel/Desktop/Colors registry and it failed.Would appriciate if there is a way.

How to Change Context Menu Selector Color

After this update : Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903
my context menu (right click menu) selector become a brighter color. Here is a picture for example :

Before update, the color is a darker color. Feels contrast with the context menu background. Something like this :

My question, how do I change the color of the selector so it can be darker, more contrast than the background?

Almost everyone have windows 10 now right? Well when I use an OS, I look at even the slightest thing that bugs me. Windows 10 is full of 'em. Most importantly the GUI. I'n the long list of GUI problems, I would like to add another one from me.

You see different places on windows OS have different color of context menu. Literally, distinguishable colors. When you click on desktop, explorer, taskbar, Edge, title bar icons, the list goes on. The thing Which bugs me the most is the black scheme of
the taskbar context menu. It does not even changes when we select light mode. I have uploaded an image. Well to my surprise I discovered I'm not the only one! there is actually a web site siting the

problem.

What do you guys think? Is my opinion utter nonsense? Or it bugs you too ;P

 

How do I change active window color on high contrast mode in Windows 11?

You can change the color of the active window in high contrast mode on Windows 11 by following these steps:

Step 1: Click on the Windows icon in the taskbar to open the Start menu.

Step 2: Click on the gear icon to open the Settings app.

Step 3: Click on "Accessibility" from the left-hand menu.

Step 4: Scroll down and click on "High contrast."

Step 5: Click on "High contrast settings."

Step 6: Click on "Colors."

Step 7: Under "Choose your color," click on the drop-down menu next to "Selected Text."

Step 8: Select the color that you want to use for the active window.

Step 9: Click on "Apply."

Step 10: Click on "Save" to save your changes.

After following these steps, the active window color should be changed to the color that you selected. Note that some apps may not fully support high contrast mode and may not display the colors that you selected. In such cases, you may need to adjust the color settings within the app itself.
