Windows 10: Low disk space, 4.79gb updates in temp folder which I can't clear

My Asus transformer notebook only has 30gb maximum storage space. I now only have 2.37gb free so I can't install windows updates. I have already taken everything off my computer to store on USB and removed some apps and run the disk clean up lots of times. My temporary folder is causing the problem which is 5gb in total of which 4.79gb is showing as "Updates" which are not cleared by the clean up operation. How do I clear the 4.79gb of updates?

The temp folder provides work space for programs. Yes they can be deleted. We suggest that you follow the steps provided by Sangeeta Sarkar on how to delete Temp files on this

link. You may also type in the search box Disk Cleanup and hit enter. It will evaluate your disk and give you a list of folders sizes that can be deleted.

Window Update - Low disk space

If you used Disk Cleanup to free up space on your device and then see a Low Disk Space error, it’s possible that your Temp folder is quickly filling up with application (.appx) files that are used by Microsoft Store. To fix this problem, you’ll need to reset
the Store, clear the Store cache, and run the Windows Update troubleshooter:

To reset Microsoft Store, select Start  >Settings  > Update & Security  > Troubleshoot, then scroll down and select Windows Store Apps from the list and select Run the troubleshooter.

To clear the Microsoft Store cache, press the Windows Logo Key  + R to open the Run dialog box, then type wsreset.exe and click OK. A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and the Store will open automatically.

To reset Windows Update, select Start  > Settings  > Update & Security  > Troubleshoot, then scroll down and select Windows Update from the list, and select Run the troubleshooter.

Reboot your computer and see if you are still experiencing the issue.
