Windows 10: Low FPS Until Multiple ALT-TABs?

Hi,So I've been having a problem with my framerate in games on a new laptop that I just got a few days ago. As seen on the pictures that I took I couldn't record them, my games are usually low on fps most of the time. However when I alt-tab multiple times or fast enough, I still haven't figured it out, the game will see a significant improvement in fps. We're talking 20fps+ improvement. After seeing some benchmarks on YouTube, the high fps is what I'm supposed to get all the time but for some reason I need to alt-tab a lot of time just to get to that point. This severely affects multitaski

FPS drops until I alt+tab

I have been encountering an unusual issue on my computer lately. Usually, when I start playing games, I get a solid fps around 60fps. However, after about 20 minutes, my fps drops to about 20fps. This is strange because whenever I alt+tab out of the game
and back in, my fps returns to 60fps. Thank you for reading and please help me resolve this. Please tell me if you need any information to fix this issue.

I'm using nvidia 341.44 driver and I have low fps sometimes, but it's only when i start a game or start watching a video. I saw the antimalware service executable using 30-50% of my cpu but i don't think that's the issue.
My way to fix it is by alt tabbing a few times, refreshing and clicking on the taskbar. *Biggrin

 

alt + tab not working

Just found a really cool way to make alt+tab INSTANT!!!

In the launch options write the following: -windowed -noborder





This play exactly the same as fullscreen but now you dont have to wait 30 f*@!ing seconds to alt+tab back in!

Also you don't get the little purple/black checkered effect (only in Source games) from alt+tabbing in fullscreen.
