    LsaIso.exe Invalid access to memory location in Process Explorer


    Hello, I noticed and issue with LsaIso.exe in Process Explorer, whereby fields such as Description, Company Name, Verified Signer and so on are all blank. The only non-blank field is User Name: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM. The Path says “[Invalid access to memory location.]”. When I click on Properties, the Strings and Environment tabs are blank. This is the only process that looks this way, as everything else is filled for other processes. Should I be concerned that this process is not legitimate / is malware?Thanks in advance!

    As per the description, I understand that the Internet Explorer closes immediately after opening and you receive
    rvgsvr32.exe error. We will assist you to resolve the issue.

    As an initial troubleshooting step, I suggest you to run Internet Explorer performance troubleshooter and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

    1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

    2. Select Troubleshooting.

    3. Select View all on the top left corner.

    4. Click Internet Explorer
    performance    .

    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

    6. Check if issue persists.

    Also, I suggest you to check if the computer is using its full memory.

    • Press Windows key + R and type msconfig.
    • Go to Advance options and check if you have chosen use Maximum memory.
    • If not, I suggest you to place a check mark, restart the computer and check if that helps.

    Hi Bill,

    Quick Access is a new feature in Windows 10 File Explorer navigation pane which helps users quickly navigate to locations which are frequently used. However, if you're having issues with Quick Access, you can try to disable and enable it. To disable Quick
    Access, follow these steps:

    • Type File Explorer Option in the search box.
    • Click on File Explorer Options.
    • Under General tab, choose This PC in the Open File Explorer to: drop down menu.
    • Uncheck Show recently used files in Quick access and
      Show frequently use folders in Quick access.
    • Click Apply an OK.
    • Restart the computer and re-enable Quick access.

    Let us know how it goes after performing the suggested troubleshooting steps.
