Windows 10: LWFoundation computer will not let me past the previous user network log in window in order...

Just bought a refurbished DELL PC with Win 10. The computer will not let me past the previous user network log in window in order to reset it to factory settings. Is there a way to reboot the computer and by pass this log in screen?

The command in step 2 of Option Two should show your wireless networks listed in priority order. Top of the list is higher.

I think I am confusing you by responding in parallel with dalchina.
I do not know what you are referring to by "Option 1" so I suppose you mean a step suggested by dalchina.

It is dalchina who is trying to guide you in allowing access to specific users.
- I never set up for individual users and my suggested procedure establishes access to all shared folders for all users who are logged in to the network computers.
- I do not pick & choose within the steps given in my procedure. I do all of them in the order they are presented in my procedure.
- "Everyone" in my procedure {step 6} means everyone who is logged in to any network computer.

I think I should now back off and let you follow dalchina's suggestions. I will keep getting notifications of new posts so I will be able to see how you are getting on.

recognize ethernet ports for computer to computer network

I worked all this out for a Win7-WinXP direct ethernet computer-to-computer network and later amended it for a Win7-Win7 network.

You can use a crossover cable but do not have to.
Doing this in Windows 10 is just about the same as doing it in Windows 7 but some diagrams look different & you have to look around for the equivalent settings in some cases.

But I suggest you do yourself a favour and get a router so that it does all the hard work for you.
