  1. M.2 Drive Not recognized upon Boot anymore and Crashes when it is woken up from Sleep Mode

Hello, I have been experiencing issues with my desktop recently that are a bit strange. I will post some sys. Info below as well as an event log post, but my M.2 Drive that has Win10 on it is acting up. When I use my machine it works just fine, but once I put my machine to sleep, it either then gives me BSOD upon wake, or the wake action just starts the computer because it seems to crash. Also once I load into BIOS, the M.2 is no longer there as though it is not being woken up for some reason. Only will my system recognize the M.2 when I unscrew it, unplug it and plug it back in. Then I am able to recognize it in BIOS on the next boot, and repeat this cycle.

I would also like to add that if I am working and do not put my computer to sleep or shut down and then turn it back on "instead just restart it" it continues to show in BIOS still. I have had an issue where since I got this M.2 it has never shown up as a device in my boot order but has to be manually selected every time. Now that this drive is being recognized every time the system powers down, I have to replug it back in every time I wish to work.

I have an HP EX950 500GB M.2 Drive, and there seems to really be no driver updates for it, and I have tried everything from updating drivers, to reading logs to try and figure out the error and can't figure out why it goes to sleep and the Blue Screens or restarts. It is almost as if my machine is not able to wake the drive up so it throws an error, and the BSOD barely comes up so I am not able to capture any specific error message.

I have tried updating drivers to no avail.

Any help would be appreciated and let me know if I need to post specific dumps related to this.

No Boot, Drives Not detected, Can't Load Win10 Pleses Help!

Until the BIOS sees your M.2, there's nothing you can do. It does not matter if the M.2 is unformatted/unallocated, the BIOS should see it.
    1. Suggest that you take the M.2 out, clean all the contacts and re-seat it and hope this is the case.
    2. If step one fails. Connect your 250GB SSD back in using one of the SATA port to see if the BIOS recognize it. If it doen't, then it might be something wrong with the MB, if it does then boot up the Windows Installation USB, run diskpart, shrink it at least 40GB then create a partition, Leave it unallocated then install Windows there.

Also try to re-seat all other components such as Memory, Video card etc...

M.2 Drive Not recognized upon Boot anymore and Crashes when it is woken up from Sleep Mode

M.2 SSD no longer being recognized

Is the M.2 disk recognized on BIOS?
If it isn't, it's probably a hardware problem and you should as for a new in warranty.

If it's recognized on BIOS it's probably a corrupted software.
Boot from a Win 10 installation disk, launch a cmd window (Shift+F10) and type:
    diskpart
list volume (take note of the letter assigned to your windows in the M.2 drive)
    exit
sfc /scannow /offwindir=X:\windows /offbootdir=X:\ (replace X with the drive letter found with list volume)

My recommendation is to create a utilities disk Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk
