Windows 10: M.2 SSD Disappeared After Game Crash

Hey all!I was playing Payday 3 which was installed on my M.2 SSD There was still 300gb free.The game then crashed and wouldn't allow me to start it again via the Epic Games launcher.I then tried to launch it directly from the M.2 directory but that didn't work.So I restarted the PC and now the M.2 has completely disappeared from my PC and I can't see it at all.Any help would be greatly appreciated,Many Thanks,Jake

Disappearing SSD Syndrome

Thank you for the information. I have built a new system, and am struggling with a disappearing SSD.

Q: Do you have any suggestions for dealing with a disappearing SSD that is an M.2 device. That is, it doesn't have separate SATA data and power connection-- just the motherboard slot. I have a Plextor M6e SSD plugged in to the M.2 slot on an ASUS Z97 Deluxe 3.1 MB.

Windows 10 SSD disappear

Hello, i have big problem and i dont now how to fix it, i have 2 ssd. fist ssd is 2.5inch samsung , and 2nd is m.2.
This problem hits me twice this year. I'm playing video games, and all of a sudden the game crashes, and the partition completely disappears from the computer, I have to go take it out and put it back in to make it work , what is happens ?

 

SATA SSD and M.2 SSD

i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2



obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)
