  1. M.2 SSD is locked in read only protection and preventing me from accessing Windows

Windows defender was scanning for viruses when the computer became extremely slow before crashing. I then turned my computer back on but ended up with being sent straight to the BIOS screen and have been unable to enter Windows again. I have figured out the SSD is in read-only protection but that's it I have been unable to remove it. Or do anything to change it

    SATA SSD and M.2 SSD

i was with a ssd sata and now i have ssd m.2, i formatted and put windows 11 in m.2, but i did not remove the ssd sata, i can only boot windows with the ssd sata connected, if i remove it windows does not boot to m.2

obs: windows was installed on m.2 but the ssd sata was still connected, but windows was 100% installed on m.2, is there any way I can set m.2 as primary? (when i removed the ssd sata it did not recognize windows)

    Sorry for my bad English

  3. Why is my computer locking up on boot after installing M.2 SSD

My brother suggested that I unplug the current SSD in my computer and leave the HDD drive alone. Install the M.2 SSD and boot into BIOS. He said the two SSD's might be causing a conflict and once the BIOS is allowed to identify the new M.2 SSD I should be able to plug the other one back in. Should I give that a shot?

M.2 SSD on old X58 system with M.2 PCI adaptor. Can it work?

Are all the drives listed here comfirmed to work in P6X58D or equivalent? I suppose tack MP500 on to the list as well? Is there a summary list or Google doc where all this is tracked?
